I’m dreaming of a White (and black) Christmas!

I love Christmas but I can’t say I love all the green and red that comes with it. I have a very monochromatic simple style and like to continue it through my Christmas decorating.

This year I decided to use the lovely tall plant stand on display In the living room to display our small Xmas tree. I wrapped gifts in our 2015 stendig calendar paper and finished them off with twine and twigs. The little string lights are a great lightweight option for trees and also love the gold moon sitting above the tree and crowned swan for a minimal festive touch.

This is also the perfect tree for toddlers as all decorations are out of reach.

A few of my styling tips would be:-

Less is more! Don’t get caught up in all hype, stick with one or two colours and follow through from tree decorating to wrapping etc.

Simple florals/twigs, buds and bells can make great present decorations.

A floating balloon always adds a fun festive touch and also makes for good Xmas photos.

Try to plan and budget presents early and if you have a theme in mind for the following year, buy up at the sales and store away!

Look forward to seeing some other modern Xmas displays out there this year.

Personalisation with Renault and Resin

Just your average Saturday….my own personal chauffeur picking me up from my doorstep in a brand new Renault Captur and taking me to a jewellery making workshop in the outskirts of the city.

I was very impressed with the small but luxurious and very roomy Renault! A really modern fit out and here’s the cool part, the car can be personalized to your exterior colour scheme! And also wheel colour and interior trims!

I really liked the link between the personalised car serviced and resin jewellery making class…all custom made to suit our style and exactly what the new Renault Captur is all about.

We were greeted with champas, juice, and a delicious spread of breakfast rolls, muesli, yoghurt and yummy fruit. Whilst mingling we chose our mould designs to create our resin jewellery….both bangles and rings. We then watched a demonstration of how to make the pieces and got working on them on our own. I made some great black bangles and rings and then tested out how to marble the pattern and was so impressed with the outcome!

After our hard work we enjoyed a yummy lunch and worked on perfecting the pieces by trimming and sanding. My lovely driver was waiting for me on completion and I left with an arm full of gorgeous jewellery and goodie bags! Fun right! And now to pick up the 3 kids from nannies house…oh well, all good things must come to an end!

Thanks for a great day Renault!

A true match made in heaven today at Incy Interiors Chatswood Chase! Tutu Du monde and Laduree! I die!

We were invited to celebrate the stunning new collection ‘The Wonder Hour’ from Tutu Du Monde, and of course the creators of magic and make believe in girls dresses, tutus, capes and all things sequins did not disappoint! From the moody blues, silver greys and dusty pinks….oh my!

Just arriving into the beautiful Incy Interiors store set up with dreamy beds, bedding, kids accessories etc was pleasing to the eye, however throw in pastel macaroons, cake pops and Moët and well…I am in heaven!

Sage had her face painted whilst I mingled and took my time swooning over amazing dresses, tutus, playsuits and even beautiful sequin ballet shoes.

Missy tried on some divine pieces and we are both hoping Santa delivers the goods this year! The colours and designs are truly exquisite!

A super fun day out at One Fine Baby! Always love visiting the clever stores and faces behind the Instagram feeds I follow. Basically the best of the best must haves for modern stylish mamas and bubbas in Aus.

I bought Sage with me this year and we had a ball together, visiting Peppa Pig, dancing along to play along with Sam, jumping castles, baby animals and heaps of fun for me too!

My stand outs this year were Sack me and their beautiful and quirky bedding, Dazed but Amazed lovely linen range in collaboration with many talented artists, Homely creatures and Winnie and B‘s lovely set ups and little Gatherers beautiful art stand this year in collaboration with 22 artists for Dandelion support network. And of course Briars lovely Christmas backdrop styled for Santa pics.

I actually went home to get the boys for an Xmas photo all together and so we had a second round of jumping castles, ice creams and animal petting! Mamma is exhausted but such a fun day out!
