March favourite finds!

All of a sudden April is here!! Felt like Christmas was last week! Anyway, thought I would write a little about what our favourite things are at the moment…

  1. Mint Rhapsody is killing it in the design and functionality front for kids and adults! I mean once the pandas come out of this house I am filling with trinkets and candles! So clever!!! and Kingston is loving it too!
  2. Print Bebe has released some new gorgeous prints recently! Florals, pastels and flowing dresses for girls and even women’s wear too I believe…yay!! Lovely for summer or teamed with stockings and cardis for winter.
  3. The Gathered Store sells the most gorgeous range of kids accessories, prints, bedding and different finds sourced from creative and like minded people! The Easter bunny is delivering these goodies to the kids with little Ohsofo bunny who we adore! Check out her gorgeous goodies too!!!
  4. For those that don’t know, I work in events with mum called Sugarcoated Events. We made these fold out icecream invites for Kingston’s first bday and they have been our most popular and fave design so far.
  5. I’m all over cool storage bags of every make and size! My current faves are these General Eclectic ones from Apache Rose! Who are also launching online soon so stay  tuned!
  6. Chi khi is the new kids label from super talented Natalie Basingthwaite. Cool monochrome designs in stripes, crosses, spots and super soft material made from bamboo!! Little K was lucky enough to be included in their campaign !!
  7. Always fans of Hubble and Duke! and these long socks have broken Instagram (not literally) with their populatity! Paired with these cool white high tops from Country Road, will be a great Winter staple!
  8. Cutest bedroom additions are these Anny Who postcards! She also creates gorgeous prints and cushions! Also found over at The Gathered Store!
  9. Always look forward to what Rock Your Baby  brings to the design front! Best unisex brand!! Couldn’t pass up this “time to dance” tutu for the little miss! From Charbella.

Hope you love our finds! Look forward to the next lot of surprises!  Xxxb

Here we are! our favourite place (maybe besides Noosa QLD)!  We bought all 3 kids home from hospital to our little place in Cronulla and have really enjoyed the relaxed beach lifestyle! We have now moved closer to the city (for husbands work and a bit of a savings plan) but Cronulla is our heart and where we will call home again in a few years time!

So I thought I would give some tips on what to do in Cronulla with Kids and where the best coffee/food is etc…..if any other locals are reading this, be sure to throw in your faves too!

My first stop for coffee and a delish Salmon breaky plate full of Ricotta, eggs, roast veg, salmon and sourdough etc is HAM, Brothers Harry & Mario have set up such a light and airy cafe with delicious home cooked food (mostly by mum Kitty), great breakfast and lunch options and most importantly coffee!   Ham has recently been renovated too, so lots more seating and outdoor dining which suits prams too!

We then usually head to South Cronulla park for a play on the equipment followed by the beach for swims.

There is a great walk that starts at the newly refurbed RSL in South Cronulla ‘The Esplanade” which again is pram friendly and takes you seaside towards lovely beaches such as Shelley which again has a great enclosed play park for kids….maybe stop at the Nuns Pool for coffee or lunch! Again a beautiful fit out, light, bright, water and park views and great food!  The walk continues right up to Bass & Flinders point and finishes at Salmon Haul bay which is a beautiful little beach but a bit cliffy and stairs so not so good for kids here.

If you do get the chance for a shop, my favorites are:

Charbella Bubs – Best in kids fashion, home pieces and accessories! Bobo Choses, Alex & Ant, Coco and Ginger, Rock your Baby etc. Sisters Deb and Donna have  a great eye for gorgeous pieces for the home, beautiful gifts and stuff that you won’t find in an everyday shop….Dont forget to head next door to Grind (the Locals Religion) for Coffee!!!

Apache Rose – Super cool designer brands again for kids and those with an eye for style…..Hidden in the back of an arcade off the mall, its worth popping in here to see the latest finds from the very helpful sister and mum team…..Kip & Co, Pop and Scott, Ladedah Kids and quirky finds from around the world!

Days Like These (next door to Ham)- For the simple but cool clothing for guys and gals…Zoe Karrson, The Horse watches, Valley sunnies, Zuitton for men etc etc

Roar – for the trendy brand conscious women.  Think Bassike, Aesop, Camilla & Marc etc…A beautiful fitout and a delight to shop!  Head next door to The Old Library for a vino and tapas plate (stunning Old Library refurb to a trendy bar/restaurant….NY feel in the Shire) yummy long lunch and dinner option too!

If you are after a more casual dinner with the kids, maybe after the beach, head to Queen Margharita for yummy pizza and salad or my fave Yalla Sawa / the best in Greek food, i mean so yum! pomegranate and eggplant salads with the most amazing tagines !! a regular visit for our family! Be sure to stop by Frangipani for the yummiest Gelatos too!

I have only covered a tiny bit here….so much more to see and do! every chance I get we are back down to the Shire for sand, surf and family visits. x b

P.S. The new Westfield Miranda is BEYOND!

Both Sage & Kingston wear Bobo Choses & Noa – Mini Rodini & Bandit Kids

Welcome

Hi! Most of you may know me and the kids from Instagram, I am a mum of 3…Noa is 5 1/2, Sage 3 1/2 and Kingston nearly 2 (Noa not pictured as he is a big school boy now). Yes it has been crazy, yes there have been days I want to escape and yes, I love them with every inch of me!

Parenthood is so exhausting and rewarding at the same time! From the minute your new baby is placed on you, the fist feed, Nappy change, outing etc…amazing and so weird at the same time!  Then the lack of sleep, sore boobs, milk everywhere, nighties for days!  Nothing prepares you for how your world will turn upside down! Not necessarily for everyone but my first born Noa was a particularly difficult screaming baby and god knows how I continued to have them so close together! I think it was my sisters advice “surely you couldn’t be that unlucky twice” and she was right, Sage was a much more settled baby and I remember checking on her frequently as she slept so soundly (I couldn’t get more than 20 mins at a time with Noa…no joke) and then Kingston…well the third just follows, sleeps when they can and as exhausting and deal breaking as the 3rd child is, he is the most gorgeous funloving creature and Sage mothering him is the cutest!

So, I thought I owed it to my fellow IGers to state some truth as pics can be deceiving… We all have our days and the stories we share can be so helpful to one another!

My blog beebeesxthree will be more about the activities, clothes, craft and places we go as so many mums have asked for advice on where and what you do with kids in Sydney.  So here I am, look forward to sharing as we explore x b

Sage wears children of the tribe tee and bonds tutu and Kingston bonds tee and children of the Tribe shorts.
